Hair styling

In the one year module in "la creative academy" we do a 2 week module of hair styling. At the start i wasnt too excited about it but now im very happy we got to do it as now i know i few new tips and tricks not only for myself but to do friends hair and then work up to doing it on potential clients! We learnt how to put hair in rollers and set hair, curley blow drys, applying wigs, and many up styles!

Mac masterclass

This Wednesday i was lucky enough to get a place to go to a MAC master class with the fabulous make up artist Karin Darnell! Karin is one of Rihanna, Nicole scherzinger, jessie j and many more celebritys mua's. It was amazing to see her and get some of her expert tips! She was extreemly inspiring and has made me think out side the box with make up! Just because its lipstick doesnt mean it belongs on the lip! Robyn xxx

Makeup kit so far

Starting the course in LA creative academy we were givin a great makeup stater kit and brush kit! It was like christmas! All the girls and I where so excited. The kits are fab i love them! Ive tried all the products and brushes in it soon i will do reveiws on all things :) Happy Sunday, Robyn xxx

LA LIFE

Two weeks ago i moved to Dublin to peruse my dream of being a professional makeup artist. I have started in LA College of Creative Arts. I was so scared when i was starting! Since im from Cork which is in the south of Ireland i dont know many people in Dublin i was really out of my comfort zone and was thrown into the deep end! Now that i have been doing the course 2 weeks i love it! Im always so excited to get up and go to college (and im pretty lazy ha ha). The girls in my class ar lovely and gorgeous people and i know we will all be great friends! As our tutors say we are a team now! Have a great weekend. Robyn xxx

The start of my makeup artist journey

Iv always had a passion for all things creative, but i never knew what i wanted to get into! In secondary school i did home economics and loved making things and sewing, i also did art which i loved! it was my favorite subject and always enjoyed going to class. I did some work experience in a hair dressers and i did not enjoy it as much as i hoped so i knocked that one off the list, then i tried a teaser day at a beauty course i absolutely loved the make up side to it and thats when i realized make up was my thing! i always was creative with my make up! My friends will never let me forget that when i was in first year i came to school with bright blue eye shadow and eyeliner with bright pink lip gloss, i couldn't leave the house with out it! I always do friends and families make up for special days and events and i love it, i love making them feel even more beautiful than they already are and from this feeling i know its my passion.
