DIY lipstick palette

Hey everyone i hope you all had a great Christmas or a great holiday if you don't celebrate Christmas! In todays post i will be showing you how to make a lipstick palette, being a make up artist i have a lot of lipsticks and have to carry them around in my kit all the time so its easier for me to make a palette! if you have a lot of lipsticks or if you are also a MUA or if you just want to be more organized with your lipsticks keep reading!

What you need
- lipsticks
- a palette ( i used a pill box from a shop called muji)
- table spoon
- candle
- matches
- knife
- paper
- pen
- tape

1. pick the lipsticks that you want to put in your palette. I picked 12 to fit into my palette.

2. light your candle.
3. if you want to use all of the lipstick just put it all on the spoon. I only used half so i could keep the bullet for myself.
4. using the knife cut of your lipstick then place on spoon.

5. place the spoon over the candle but dont let the spoon touch the flame! Just hover the spoon over it!

6. wait until it melts fully like you can see in the last picture, then pour it into one of the slots in the palette.
7. clean the leftover lipstick off the spoon and repeat.
8. keep repeating these steps until you fill your palette to suit you! :)

if you are interested in the lipsticks i melted the list is in the previous picture! :)
9. write down all the lipstick names or numbers and place on the back of the palette so you know the colour!

i hope you enjoyed this post and found it helpful! By making a lipstick palette you save alot of space and have a much more organized kit or make up collection! Thank you for reading <3

DIY Flower Crown

Hey guys, during the summer i went to a music festival and i made myself and my best friend a flower crown and i got alot of compliments on it so im going to show you how i made them :) i hope you find this helpful for the summer or any other event you might want it for :)

things you need
- wire ( i got mine in a garden centre)
- fake flowers
- duck tape
- a very strong scissors to cut the wire

steps

1. get a piece of wire and put it around your head to get the comfortable size and wrap the ends together.
2. wrap another piece of wire around the wire to make it sturdy.
3. once you think its sturdy enough you start the fun bit!

4. cut your flowers of the stems and then tape them to the wire.
5. keep building up the flowers in a nice pattern.
6. slowly but surely it will start to come together nicely!
7. add in some leaves if you like, to break up the flowers.

this is a pretty straight forward tutorial it is defiantly time consuming but its worth it in the end! You can wear them to many different events, festivals, parties or just an every day accessory! I hope you enjoyed this and found it inspiring and helpful and i hope you try make a flower crown and if you do please tweet me a picture i would love to see! here are some pictures of how i wore my flower crown!
